A Japanese astronaut is testing a line of odor free underwear.  They can be worn more than a week. They are designed to "kill bacteria, absorb water, insulate the body and dry quickly."   I guess they have had success and the underwear works great. They are trying to reduce the amount of clothing that needs to be sent out to the space station since it is becoming expensive....but from what I read, a commercial line is in the works to sell them .

I just feel , even if the underwear worked..that you should just really change those suckers everyday.

Sounds a little gross to me. But can you imagine wearing them making a whole line of clothes?e would only have to do laundry once a week!
